Omo-Agege where is the N80b Buhari released to you for reconstruction of Sapele-Benin, Amukpe-Agbor roads?

Sometime ago in November, 2022 during the heat of the Governorship election campaign in Delta State, the outgoing Deputy President of the Senate and Governorship Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Ovie Omo-Agege told the Christian Council of Nigeria (CCN), in Sapele that President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the release of N80 billion for the reconstruction of Sapele/Benin Road and the Amukpe/Agbor/Uromi Road, Delta State.

He claimed that following the reconstitution of the NDDC Board, President Buhari ordered the release of N80 billion from the frozen N500 billion naira belonging to the NDDC for the reconstruction of the two critical Federal roads in the state.

However as I write, its been several months and elections have come and gone and the roads still remain the way they were or even worse off.

Oga DSP what did you do with the N80 billion released to you? Did you use it to contest election or you were just trying to make political capital out of it by lying to the men of God to curry their favour?

At this juncture, Deltans and Nigerians should occupy the DSP and ask him questions what he did with the money because the roads are still impassable as we speak.

I call on the Chairman of Christian Council of Nigeria, Delta State chapter, Rev Dr Jonathan Iwhiwhu, whom he made the claim in his presence to ask Senator Omo-Agege what he did with the money that was meant to reconstruct the deplorable Sapele/Benin Road and the Amukpe/Agbor/Uromi Road which have impacted negatively on the economic ventures of the people.

We need answers, Deltans deserve to know what happened to the money DSP Ovie Omo-Agege.
